Industrial AI Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the AI Employee service at industrialai.au. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

When you use our AI Employee service, we access the following through your Google account (only with your explicit consent):

  • Gmail: Read, draft, and send emails on your behalf. We never delete emails.
  • Google Calendar: View, create, and manage calendar events.
  • Google Drive: Save and organise documents you create through the service.

We also collect:

  • Your name and email address (provided during signup)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
  • Files you upload to your AI agent (stored securely in your private workspace)
  • Conversations with your AI agent (stored in your private memory database)

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate your AI Employee service
  • To remember your business information, clients, and preferences (via the Industrial Brain)
  • To manage your email and calendar on your behalf
  • To send you service-related communications (onboarding, briefings, account updates)

We do NOT use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with other customers.

3. Data Isolation

Your data is completely isolated from other customers. Each AI Employee has:

  • Its own private memory database (no cross-customer access)
  • Its own workspace for files and documents
  • Its own Google OAuth tokens (stored securely, never shared)
  • Its own Telegram bot (private to you)

4. Data Storage

  • Memory database: Hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security
  • Files: Stored on our secure servers in Australia
  • Google tokens: Encrypted at rest, stored per-workspace
  • Conversations: Processed by AI models (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) — these providers do not retain your data for training

7. Data Retention

While your account is active, we retain all data necessary to operate your AI Employee. After deactivation:

  • Your data is preserved for 30 days (in case you want to reactivate)
  • After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted unless you request otherwise
  • Google tokens are revoked immediately upon deactivation

8. Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for Google access at any time
